Edvard Ribari\u0107<\/span><\/h3><\/div>

Graduated economist at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, with a master's degree in Banking and Finance in Milan, and more than 15 years of experience in the field of credit insurance.<\/p>

Between 1997 and 2010 he worked at various positions at the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR), and from 2005 he also held the position of Managing Director, reporting directly to the Board for all elements of Export Credit Insurance business. During this time he was also representing HBOR at the Berne Union and Prague Club meetings (international organizations of export and investment insurers).<\/p>

He was also an active member of the working group for the preparation of negotiations on Croatia's accession to the European Union for Chapter 30 - External Relations (30 \u2013 Vanjski odnosi).<\/p>

He successfully led the project of establishing an insurance company (preparation and successful implementation of the entire legal and business framework necessary for the establishment of an insurance company) Hrvatsko kreditno osiguranje d.d. (HKO d.d.), the first credit insurance company in Croatia, established as a joint venture of the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) and the Austrian Oesterreichische Kontrollbank (OeKB) AG, and successfully worked as the President of the Managing Board between 2010 and 2016.<\/p>

In 2016, he became the Managing Director of Coface Hrvatska d.o.o. (Coface Croatia), a subsidiary of one of the world's leading companies in the field of insurance and debt collection, as well as creditworthiness information. In addition to Croatia, the company also operated in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Northern Macedonia. In 2017, after the successful integration of Coface Slovenija d.o.o., he became the director of the newly named company Coface Adriatic d.o.o., a credit insurance company that operates throughout the whole ex-Yugoslavia area.<\/p>

In 2020, he founded the insurance brokerage company Adria Trade Risk, and decided to offer his extensive experience and knowledge in the field of credit insurance as the first insurance broker on the Croatian market specializing in this type of insurance.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u017diga holds a Bachelor\u2018s degree from the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana. \u017diga has extensive experience in the field of taxes and insurance. By working as tax advisor in Cautela Pros company, where he mainly specialized in transfer prices, he became familiar with business models and the principles of operation in small and large domestic and international companies or groups. He has been working in the insurance industry for several years now, specializing in trade credit insurance. In 2019 he became a member of the scholastic honor society Beta Gamma Sigma, which is formed by the best students of AACSB accredited business schools in the world. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana, and at the same time a Financial Risk Manager (FRM\u00ae) certificate at the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).<\/span><\/p>

Through his studies and work experience, he has acquired competences for performing a wide range of tasks in the field of financial management in companies, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions. These competences mainly include knowledge of functioning of financial markets, investment and capital management, financial analysis ability, corporate valuation, financial decision-making and other financial skills necessary for the operation of companies, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions.<\/span><\/p>
